Tsaakik Hotel Spa

We had the place to ourselves after a long trip from Sydney Fresh made guacamole, fajitas for dinner and the hostess with the mostest creating banging margaritas made for a wonderful experience. Ensure you advise time you would like breakfast. Loved the atmosphere, even though a bit out of the way, great to chill.

Flew in late Christmas Eve and didn’t arrive until after midnight. Angie greeted us at the gate got us checked in quickly and opened the bar up for us. She gave us the options for food but also told us she had leftovers from their Christmas meal they had for the workers. We went with the Christmas meal. Everyone here is warm and welcoming just like your family. The place is quiet and in the jungle. We woke up to fresh papaya grown here at the resort with bananas and yogurt with granola. Definitely recommend here if you want a special treatment kind of vacation.

A little hard for our taxi to find but other than that this place was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and looks and feels like a little piece of paradise. Less than 10 minutes to the airport which was super convenient. The room was also super cute! Highly recommend!!

I can not say enough about this wonderful little gem tucked away on a quiet dirt road. When we pulled up, I thought, ut oh what have we done. When we left after a weeks stay, I told Mariel that I couldn't wait to come back to stay and visit her. The grounds are very well kept, the staff is warm and welcoming and always quick to help. Mariel and Andi were so kind and I enjoyed watching them cook and of course eat their delicious food. The pool was relaxing and quiet, exactly what I needed. If you need some down time and don't mind being in a quiet, small place with beautiful grounds and accommodations, with caring staff that will go the extra mile for you....then this is your place! I can't wait to return!

We stayed at Tsaakik "hotel Spa" for two days and one night. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, Angie the host was absolutely brilliant, running round doing most of everything on her own. There are a few rooms which are like independent pods which had everything you needed and very comfortable ( so my brother and wife told me). Myself and my wife however had one of the suits! Although the bed was very comfortable, the air con worked well and the room was huge we were a little disappointed that we had no hot water at all until mid morning the day we were leaving. When it was hot and we had a shower the water just dribbled out of the shower head so took forever to shower. There were two tiny unmarked bottles in the shower which I think I showered every hair on my body with conditioner!! There was a lovely roll top bath in the bathroom which was there just for show as the taps had no water at all coming out. Food was extremely limited and on the evening we all had a burger and 11 french fries each!! We drank all 12 bottles of lager that were available but Angie did go and buy more on her moped. The spa itself looked quite nice and there were a few treatment rooms so we booked in for two massages and a facial only to be told the following day that we couldn't have them as the person doing it had something come up!! If you want a lazy relax by a nice pool in lovely gardens then this is the place. Once you are there you are pretty much there as there is nothing close by to go to unless you get a taxi.
